Hi! I’m Giulia Giampaolo, the artist behind Giu Watercolor. My creative journey began four years ago in Belgium, and since then, I’ve immersed myself in the world of watercolor, a medium I love for its timeless beauty and the subtle magic it brings to life on paper.
My illustrations are inspired by the vibrancy of nature, the charm of animals, and the fantastical worlds born from my imagination. From vibrant forests to whimsical characters navigating surreal adventures, each piece tells a story and offers a glimpse into the worlds I dream of. Often, you’ll find tiny versions of myself hidden in these illustrations, a way to share my perspective and experiences with you.
Travel, especially in Asia, plays a significant role in shaping my work. The textures, colors, and serenity of its landscapes deeply influence my art, just as much as my love for the natural world. I strive to capture the unique shades, movements, and emotions found in nature and infuse them into every brushstroke.
