Shipping Policy

Origin & carrier. Orders ship from Brussels, Belgium via bpost (and partner carriers when appropriate). All artworks are carefully packed in rigid mailers or sturdy boxes to ensure they arrive safely.

Processing time

  • Orders are usually prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days.
  • Some items, such as limited editions or made-to-order prints, may require additional production time.
  • If an item is out of stock or made on demand, this will be clearly stated on the product page and processing may take up to 10 business days before dispatch.

Shipping areas

  • We currently ship to Belgium and the European Union.
  • Excluded regions: Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla (ES); Azores and Madeira (PT); Åland (FI); and French overseas territories.

Rates & delivery methods

Shipping options and final rates are displayed at checkout and may change due to carrier updates or surcharges. Delivery times below are estimates provided by the carrier and begin once your order has been processed and dispatched.

Belgium

  • Standard – Tracked: €6.50
  • Insured – Tracked (with warranty): €8.00 — includes Track & Trace and basic indemnity for loss or damage.
  • Free shipping: orders from €64 (applies to the Economy – No tracking method)
  • Estimated delivery: 2–5 business days after dispatch.

EU Neighbours (France, Germany, Netherlands, Luxembourg)

  • Economy – No tracking: €11.60
  • Standard – Tracked: €16.50
  • Free shipping: orders from €84 (applies to the Economy – No tracking method)
  • Estimated delivery: 4–8 business days after dispatch.

Rest of European Union

  • Economy – No tracking: €13.75
  • Standard – Tracked: €34.60
  • Free shipping: orders from €84 (applies to the Economy – No tracking method)
  • Estimated delivery: 5–10 business days after dispatch.

Tracking & insurance

  • Tracked and Insured methods include a Track & Trace link once dispatched.
  • Economy shipping is untracked and carries no indemnity in case of loss or damage. If a non-tracked parcel is delayed or missing, we will assist you as far as possible, but please note that no formal investigation or refund can be guaranteed by the carrier.
  • Free shipping corresponds to the Economy (untracked) method.

Packaging

  • Small prints, cards and bookmarks ship flat in rigid “Do not bend” mailers with extra board protection.
  • Larger or multiple-item orders ship in reinforced boxes or padded packaging for extra safety.

Address accuracy & returns to sender

  • Please check your address carefully before confirming your order. We cannot replace or refund orders shipped to an incorrect address entered at checkout.
  • If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable or unclaimed, we can reship it to a corrected address once the new shipping cost is paid.

Delays, loss or damage

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Weather, strikes or customs inspections may cause delays.
  • If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@giuwatercolor.com with your order number and clear photos.
  • Untracked Economy shipments cannot be formally investigated or refunded by the carrier, but we will always do our best to help you resolve any issue.

Taxes & invoices

  • All prices include VAT. Shipping charges shown at checkout also include VAT where applicable.
  • We ship only within the EU; no customs duties apply.
